The President of Zanzibar and Chairman of the Revolutionary Council, Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi has said that the major task of leadership is to ensure that there is peace in the country so that the responsibility of serving the people is easy.
Dr. Mwinyi said this today, Monday February 27, at the Zanzibar State House when he met the leaders of the Tanzania Shia Islamic Community (Tanzania Ithnashria Community), led by their leader Sheikh Hemed Jalala.
Dr. Mwinyi said that in that context the country is together despite the political parties differing ideologically.
And, Sheikh Jalala has noted that they have been praying for Dr. Mwinyi frequently and congratulated him for his leadership full of wisdom and wisdom, they have been monitoring the development work being done under his leadership as well as the stability that exists for the Zanzibari people where they have now become one.
