INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST(E0I) NUMBER SMZ/D05/C/NCB/2021-2022/01 FOR THE CONSULTING FIRM TO UNDERTAKE THE PREPARATION OF PRILIMINARY DESIDG, DETAILED DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISION OF THE FIRE AND RESCUE TRAINING CENTRE IN KITOGANI ZANZIBAR.
The Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar through Fire and Rescue Force has allocated public funds for the cost of provision of consultancy services for the preliminary design, detailed design and construction supervision of the Fire and Rescue Training Centre Kitogani South Region Zanzibar.
Fire and Rescue Force now invites Expression of interest from the registered consultants to provide Preliminary design, detailed design and construction supervision of the Fire and Rescue Training Centre Kitogani South Region Zanzibar.
Interested consulting firms shall provide their information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services by submitting company profile, brochures, experience in similar work and conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff and equipment etc.
Firms may associate to enhance their qualifications.
This main assignment that is proposed construction of Fire and Rescue Force Training Centre in Zanzibar will need a project management team who will undertake the consultancy works for pre-construction stage which includes, soil test and present a soil test report to client, preparation of preliminary design, detailed engineering designs, tender documents and contract set-up, scheduling of the monthly site meeting and delivers the reports, etc.
Construction stage which will cover supervision works to be done in house by the Zanzibar Fire and Rescue Unit (ZIMAMOTO) and post-construction stage during defect liability period.
A firm will be selected under Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) as specified in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act No.11 of 2016 and its regulations.

Late EoI document shall not be considered foe evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
